In the context of the Euro-Inf Spread Work Package 2 aiming at the transfer of the Euro-Inf Framework Standards and Accreditation Criteria to the national level, four target countries have been identified: Italy, Latvia, Czech Republic and Spain.

At the meeting of the Euro-Inf Spread Project on March 16th, 2010, in Milan the Latvian Higher Education Quality Evaluation Center, HEQEC, announced that the Euro-Inf Standards and Criteria will serve as basis for the assessment of informatics study programmes by HEQEC in the future.
The Euro-Inf Spread Project is co-financed by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme. It aims at the dissemination of the Euro-Inf Framework Standards and Criteria adopted by the European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education, EQANIE, in July 2009.
The Euro-Inf Spread Project is coordinated by ASIIN, the leading institution developing field-specific qualification frameworks in the area of engineering, informatics and natural sciences.
